Enthu Modified Scorpio Spotted: Codename Platoon!

magma and me spotted this when we were leaving the nse ground parking lot on our way out from the av revolution expo last week
belongs to a shaukeen sardar who was driving the car. looked very happy when he saw me clicking snaps with my canon. he may have thought i work for a magazine considering the fact the most of the chics in the times expo thought i was a photographer cos of the professional camera and kept begging me to take their pics! lol! they thought theyd make it in some newspaper or magazine the next day!! (naughty laugh and ahem!)
anyways getting back to the car, it had scorpio platoon written all over and the work was executed quite well, quality and taste wise save for some really painful claddings which had sub standard finish. the rest of the car was done up well and looked like a lot of pain was taken in order to complete it. thats sardars for u. very zealous and enthusiastic, esp about their cars! appreciate it..

Ps: taken from alis highly bouncing 800(told u to reduce the air pressure, ALi!) so a lil shaky and randomly chosen from about 30 pics taken in quick succession!

At the looks of it this seems to be a really good job. And he hasnt gone over board at all. The car looks just right.

Except for the claddings, and their alignment, the rest of the mods look good to me.
For once, those rear tail lamps are looking nice, and not overdone like the non-functional towering lights.

That looks good on the white scorpio. The alloys stand out on the customization the has done.

The plastered on wheel arches in black are very badly / unevenly done. Otherwise an interesting mod !!

I somehow get a feeling this is a Test vehicle, i know its registered and the interiors seem done up and the man driving it is with his wife, but i still think it might be a test vehicle for Mahindra, but anyways except for the side claddings the whole do up is very tastefully done. Maybe the stock scorpio side claddings would have looked just fine. And the hood scoops can also be done without. Or maybe this is a product of Mahindra Customization.

This Scorpio looks good in white. The plastic cladding on the side looks very cheap cos it doesnt fit in correctly and is of a wierd shape. Had seen this yellow one last year.

After going through the links posted by dipen, it looks like Platoon was designed more for the rear passenger what with a LCD TV with dvd player and a Sony PS2!! But interiors are definitely tastefully done and so are the exteriors except for the claddings as already pointed out!
