if you are looking for places in Andhra then you can plan a trip to Araku valley or Horseley Hills. But you can not spend more than 2-3 days at either place so may be you have to go down south to the hill stations.

possibly you should consider coming down South to Karnataka/Tamil Nadu/ Kerala - to one of the hill stations/ plantation districts here.

Can be done on a relatively low budget with maximum bang for the Buck.

Destinations like Coorg, Kabini, Chikmagalur,Ooty, Wyanaad, Yercaud etc offer a holidaymaker a great deal of enjoyment at a reasonable price.

You can cover Gangtok, Darjeeling and Kalimpong.

The other plan is the Himalayan regions of UP/Uttaranchal. Nainital/Almora/Jim Corbett/Kausani/Binsar/Munisiyari etc. For this you need to go to Delhi and take a night train to Katgodham.

THANK YOU EVERYONE!

i have visited ooty just recently, would love to go again. North east, i'll give it a miss as it is fairly unchartered territory. I am considering mahabaleshwar, panchgini OR may be kerala.

C'mon guys promote these places.. will MH be cool during those times?
If i go south, i'll do bangalore, ooty, coorg, kodai, cochi etc...

let the responses flow!

thanks.

i dont think mahabaleshwar, panchgini come even close to kerala, coorg and kodai.

So if you can manage a south trip go for it.

How about the below?

Hyderabad->Bangalore->Coorg->Kasargod->Kannur->Wayanad->Kochi->Munnar->Theni->Kodaikanal->Chennai->Hyderabad

I think it should be doable in two weeks.

You can reach delhi in two easy days of driving. Why not the himalayas?

else do the tiger circuits - would be amazing sightings in Madhya Pradesh at this time!
