Umm, I quoted the Ichibahn ISTS20 for 890/- and the GZPK10 8 gauge amp wiring kit for Rs. 2990/-, if I remember correctly. GZ RCAs are not sold loose yet, one comes with the kit though.
Well I suggested the wiring kit myself. Is this the kit that you are talking about:

Thumbs up UPDATE: I am loving it!

Hey guys!!

Saturday, An ICE day it was in Pune, and what an ICE day it was! Met up with Swale and Kiran at Kiran's place. Amey's plans changed at the last minute and Shrivz and Karl got his Swift for his ICE upgrade instead.Swale picked up Dhawal and all of us hit the road to Bombay!

On Ajay's (B&T) advice, the installation was planned to be done at 'Boom' off Carter Road, where Zohir had already got all the stuff required for our installations and upgrades. The work started at around 12.30 pm and we were finally done at 10.30 pm. The installation was very professional, very impressive. I will let the pics do most of the talking now. Enjoy!

The work started with removing the old parcel tray (ply) with the stock Kenwood 6 inchers. The metal had to be cut a bit as the 6x9s wouldn't go in. The new MDF parcel tray was fixed into place once that was done and in went the Alpine S-690s.

The Alpine S-690 coaxials picked up from gopz in Bangalore.

The rear parcel tray once the speakers were fitted in.

Next was the cabling. Not many pics here actually but the install was good. Proper crimping on all ends. Plastic rings to keep the wires together and tapes wound all around them from one end to another. Have gone for the Ichibahn ISTS20 and the GZPK10 8 gauge amp wiring kit.

The Amp power cable and the fuse connected to the battery.

This was the trickiest part. The 6.5" Illusion Electras to be installed in the front door. The door panel hardly had any space for the spacer rings to go in. On top of that, the wood in right door panel must have got wet some time and was in a pathetic state, falling apart. Zohir and Ajay were concerned about that but the installers did a great job at that too. Am still looking for an Esteem front right door panel. Any help??

The Electras dying to be installed and to belt out awesome music!

Noise Kill damping going in on the front doors.

The left door panel cut and the spacer ring fixed into place.

Oh! i love the so stock look of the components!!

You can observe the condition of the door panel in this picture. The work done keeping in consideration this fact is applausible.

The Ground Zero Amp and woofer go into their respective locations.

Heaven at Boom!

Lunch at "Budget" restaurant! Shaam (Shrivz's friend), Shrivz and Karl

Kiran and Suhail at lunch

Shrivz, Suhail, Zohir and Dhawal in front of Boom

This is the only pic I got of Ajay (in the Swift tuning Amey's setup) although he was around throughout the day. V-16 in blue.

The install was beautifully done. The installers didn't crib one bit about staying back till so late. Zohir was always around keeping a tab on the work in progress.

Now, coming to the music, to be honest, before my install, the only setups I had heard of were Kiran's and Amey's. The song I heard on Kiran's install was "Hotel California". So, this had to be the first song on mine too. When the song begins, you realise that the Electras are beautiful, very clear, very precise. The clarity is mindblowing. You can hear every instrument separately. The guitars, the "chik-chik"..and then the drums roll in. Till now, you wouldn't acknowledge about the presence of the sub but then, the bass hits you. Tight bass, not messing with the clarity of the components, rather gelling very well with them. There are no rattles or any erroneous noises coming in from anywhere. The music is awesome. In simple words, I feel I have never heard music this good!

The bass needs to be a little tighter to suit my listening needs better. The Panasonic Amp upgrade dedicated to the sub is on the cards.

Thanks are due to Kiran, Shrivz, Amey, Ajay, Suhail and everyone else who has helped me out with my ICE setup! guys, you rock!!

Fatal3rror!

Hi payam! I got the HU from Crutchfield for $200 inclusive of the iPod cable and shipping. Haven't installed the pana amp yet. Right now, the sub and the front comps are running off the GZ Amp and the rear coaxes from the HU.
