| Senior - BHPian | Something around 25 lakhs would be really nice provided its rear wheel drive and handles well too. Noone really sells anything like the Genesis or the Mustang in India and something like this would be able to fill the niche nicely. Competition would include the entry level Germans though. This should be interesting. |

| Sound fine from the power and cost perspective. But knowing how majority of the DC designed cars end up in the weird and wacky mods thread, I am skeptical about the looks of the car. |

| I dont think anyone is going to buy it and even if someone does they surely will get the whol body changed cause it will be a mess to find out what is the front of the car...P.S. He should sell the Bugatti replica for the same price and he sure will get lots of customers, replica business is good Here are the pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by muditgrover : 1st January 2012 at 08:38. |

| Actually people do buy his cars and thats the reason today DC Design is one of the top most design house in India. Anyone who wants to look aparts gets his creation. By the way thats the S concept, the super car is supposed to have more curves and some overlapping panels. I think it was in news that Vivek Oberoi was having the S concept and the cops caught it and on inquiring found out that it was running on an Ikon's registration ![]() |

| How does DC get clearances for " Road Worthy and safe " certification when he makes cars as a one off ? Is he treated like a Manufacturer even though he doesn't provide 10 cars for crash tests and what not ...... or does he ? Last edited by absynthguzzler : 1st January 2012 at 11:09. |

| Distinguished - BHPian ![]() | Given that this will be his first fully designed car, it will be interesting to see. While I can expect top-notch interiors, I hope that the exteriors are still acceptable! His last few designs have been horrible IMO. Heck, the San Storm looks better than what he did in the pictures above. My main concern would be the exteriors, safety, chassis, and engine - the latter 3 especially as I don't believe he has a lot of experience in these departments. |

| I still don't know who in this world calls him automobile designer and WHY? He may be am enthusiast but for god sake he can't design good cars at all. His design are all composites of Bugatti, Lamborghini parts. Fender from here, quarter panel from there and make an ugly beastly oversize shell on four wheels. All have been horrendous and so grotesque that only desperate attention seeker (without senses) would like to sit in it. |

| Not sure if car modifiers or for that matter any garagewala has to get a clearance for cars they work on in India. Thats why they thrive . If you make such road worthiness compulsory those ghastly modifications which local garages do on cars will drop down to zero. |

| His designs are mostly wacky, but HEY, the man's going to launch an Indian sportscar, which no one has though of before. Every other country has at least for namesakes a sportscar(don't SPEAK about San storm). Wish him good luck on the project. RWD+Honda engine(a la NSX),looks apart which of you guyz can tell you have not dreamed about it. |

| Senior - BHPian | Guess it would look something similar to the lambo (low slung). Had a rough graphical image on the latest Autocar mag. Not sure whether that's the real car. Anyways, am not expecting something great about the looks. Might be something similar to his old designs (boxy type). Let's hope for the best! |

| It is a VW Polo, modified extensively, 2 door, and wheels almost double the normal size. The photos are published in an Auto magazine. |

| Senior - BHPian | If am correct, the polo is just a modified version of the Polo. The supercar will be entirely new. Have to wait when they unveil it in the expo. |
