A first gen BMW X5 4.4i junked in Kalina reported in today's Times of India. Have been seeing this car since a long time. One of the very few 4.4i petrol X5s in the city left to rot - a pity.

Does this have white upholstery and a VIP no? If so, it was on sale on olx for 6 odd sometime last year.Pity such a fantastic car is dying such a death.

Not sure Octane. This is a Mumbai registered X5 (Number 99 or 95 not sure). But this X5 has been lying around in this state since more than 6 months.

The original Harrier seems to have dropped it's jaw after hearing about Tata's plan to name their MUV after it.

The Tercel was actually the entry level sedan in the Toyota lineup IIRC. I remember visiting the Toyota showroom back in the late 90's in the middle east. Tercel was the entry level sedan, followed by the mid-range Corolla and premium Camry. For Nissan, it was the mid-range Sunny and the premium 3L Maxima.

True GeneralJazz - the Tercel / Corsa was a hot import back in the 90's. I remember being told that the landing cost of it was around 9-10 lakhs INR - in the same bracket as the Astra / Escort. The only selling point of this car was that it was a Toyota. The interiors / exteriors were no match for the wood finish interior of the Escort or the superior quality of the Astra. From all angles, the Corsa / Tercel looked almost a decade older. No wonder, it hardly sold in large numbers - but many still survive (although in a abandoned state).

One of the many many BMW E39 5 series gathering dust. This one is a 528i which I believe was an inline 6.

Spotted a Mercedes Benz 300D Limousine in a sorry state at a garage. Hopefully awaiting restoration.

It looks like it is a W126.

I stand corrected. Thanks Liv2drv. Is that a 6 door limo then?

I'll try gathering more information on this one as soon as I get back in town.

I visited the garage again to get some detail on the vehicle.
It's a W126 380SEL which has been modified to a 4-door limousine.
As per the garage owner, it has been under restoration since quite a while now.
Attached are the few pictures.

Are these a part of the enclosed parking at UB City? I am jealous that you got an access to it. There are two guards always around the enclosed parking, making sure no one trespasses that section. I could only manage peeping through the gaps :D. But they have a lot of jewels inside. I will try and get a better picture the next time I am there.
