The car sounds lovely (Y) .Does it have the valve controlled iPE exhaust? 620 BHP is quite a claim. What are the other performance mods on the vehicle ?

Not entirely sure mate if its the valve controlled. What i do know is that its the full system. Regarding other mods, i shall post when i meet my friend next.

Oh, his other V8 is a black (now wrapped yellow) RS5!

Innotech Performance exhausts, new intake filters and stage I ECU remap.
The exhausts are decatted too IIRC.

The C63 still uses the old NA 6.2 engine. So even with an exhaust and a map, I find a 100+ hp increase tough to digest. Any idea which map it is?

I agree with Akshay. Remap + exhaust will give a reasonable 20 - 35 hp gain. Filters are providing nothing , and neither is an intake. I can safely say all this as I have extensive knowledge on these , both theoretical and practical.

100+hp would require headers , throttle bodies , a possible FI system , etc.

We must also bear in mind , and I mean with all due respect , that people are prone to referring figures higher than actual , so one should take such info with a healthy dose of salt.

Akshay, Ecks, even I had the exact same doubt if a re map and a new exhaust would give such a power bump. On questioning, I was given the following screen shots of iPE and the re map. I still dont know what/which re map was done, but the figures from the screenshots make it look like the 620hp output was indeed achieved. I was even told that iPE's gave the.best power increase and this car had a full new system with new headers and tips.
While I know you guys surely know better than me on these things, I conveyed what I was told when I asked.

The wrap-your-supercar phenomenon seems to have taken Delhiites by storm.
