| Hello guys did a Madikeri ride few weeks back , 2 days ride , sat and sunday. 2 bikes Apache modded to 200cc Me on my humble 180 cc. Route – Bangalore – Mandya – Srirangapatna – Hunsur – Periyapatna – Kushalnagara – Madikeri – Virajpet – Gonikoppa – Kutta – Mananthavadi – Sultanbatthery – Gundlupet – Mysore – Bangalore Distance covered: 743 Kms. Was bugged up with work and had to go somewhere , what best than madikeri .It was raining all the 2 days , we had fully prepared with rain jackets and gum boots .Highlights were , harangi dam, abbey falls ,irrupu falls . I will let the potos talk now. On the way to madikeri ![]() Harangi dam in full force , infact they had opened the gates at 10 am and we were there at 11 am . ![]() ![]() Effect of the water , its the bridge that is submerged , not the road . ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() On the way to abbey falls ![]() Majestic iruppu falls ![]() ![]() Mysore palace on return . ![]() ![]() Thats it guys . |

| Senior - BHPian | Thats nice Adventure. Very nice places for sure. Good snaps too. 3 weeks back my 3 years old FujiFilm FinePix S7000 developed technical snag in CCD and photos come with vertical green line. Now I purchased Kodak C763 digi cam which is quiet good as well soon I plan to visit coastal karantaka. Ravi. |

| @lukeskywalker ..we stayed at hotel hill town .Very good hotel at madikeri. @akroy ..the release of the water was planned and they will siren couple of times before releasing the water. |
