changed from MRF ZVTS to Michelin XM1

Well finally have changed my stock Mrf ZVTS to Michelin XM1 for my ford Ikon 1.3. Have done this with feedback from all you members. The drive seems to be much smoother compared to MRF. Its been only one day, so will post more after some kilometers. Hope i have made a good change.

Congrats on your new tyre change. It certainly is a very good choice and you will see improvement in handling as well as lower tyre noise at high speeds.

Congrats buddy and so what were the stock tyres config and the newly upgraded XM1's for your ride. XM1 and XM1+ are quite popular and have a nice and safe ride.

Did you upgrade or kept the same configuration? In any case, Michelin XM1+ is a great tyre. Hope you have bought that one?

I got the michelin XM1 for 2600 per tyre. I have not upgraded the size as was advised not to do. Also XM1+ energy are not available in 13" rims. I have 13" stock alloy of ford. I will now definitely put some pics very soon. My stock tyres were mrf zvts 175/70/13 and they had run 28500 km. Well the rear end was giving away on high speeds recently and also it is better to change after 3/4th use of the potential of the tyre, as you get some amount for your old tyres also. Also the monsoons have set in mumbai so it is better to have good set of tyres. Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Small Qs, Who advised you against it and with what reasons?

the mechanics at ford said that upgrading the size might not suit the original settings of suspension on a 13" rim.
