The 2017 Hyundai Grand i10 facelift has started reaching dealerships across the country, ahead of its official launch announcement. The car comes with some minor cosmetic tweaks on the exteriors, a new diesel engine and a few feature additions.

Major changes on the outside of the Grand i10 facelift include a redesigned front bumper that now comes with a wide hexagonal grille and boomerang-shaped fog lamp housings with the circular lamps placed at the corners. The fog lamp housings also come with some subtle chrome detailing on the Sportz trim, while the top-end Asta variant will get LED DRLs instead. The side profile remains identical to the outgoing model, save for a new set of 15-inch alloy wheels on the top-end trim. The rear comes with a redesigned bumper that houses a wide blacked out area with circular reflectors placed at both corners.

Hyundai has also made some feature additions to the Grand i10 facelift. As a result, it comes with a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink. The system also supports rear parking camera output and voice command functionality. The 2017 Grand i10 further gets an automatic climate control, while the rear AC vents have been carried forward from the previous model.

On the powering front, the new Grand i10 is equipped with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine that will be replacing the current 1.1-litre unit. Official output figures of this new engine are yet to be revealed, though it is expected to offer around 74 BHP. Meanwhile, the 1.2-litre VTVT 4-cylinder petrol engine will be carried forward without any changes.
