This is looking good, gang! So 11th March it is, my astrologer confirms its a great day for offroading. TK, don't worry, I am sure your Safari can do it all... and if not, one of us will give it a gentle nudge!

Menu - I am sure we can rock this one. We can all pitch in with stuff, and have a party.
+1 to that , I am ready to do my bit as well(Veg Only ). Anna to decide on menu.

Looks like buffalo has stuck! Naamkarn has been done sir - so be it.

Yeah man, Rajmachi any weather, any time of the day is a blast. I'm just wondering whether all the big SUVs can really go through some of the narrower sections of the trail (pls pardon my complete ignorance on the subject)?

Nice! We can team up with the rest of the guys and ride along together. I'm guessing like always, Chandni Chowk will be the start point.

No narrow trails - wanna maintain the shiny exterior for some more time at least! I hope there's some open space for some offroading without scratches and bruises.

I think yes, in some places we will have to do some jugad, and then its a skill test & taste too

As I've said, I'm not the expert on that. But sections of that trail are pretty tight and narrow. You can and will bash through - but I'm guessing some of your paint will remain behind.

Sagar (other SUV guys) please opine.

The Holi festival in Nagpur is very crazy and wild, people use very harsh colours that wont leave your skin for months. So in our childhood, on holi day, we used to apply very thick layer of coconut oil all over the body before stepping out for playing holi

Jokes apart, with careful maneuvering we should be able to sail.

Re: Rajmachi Softroading Trip March 11th

The moment I see a tight trail, I am parking Samara and hopping onto your back seat, Doc! Even the thought of leaving paint behind is sacrilege at this point

We are getting a good list of vehicles already - 10 if the tentatives convert. This is gonna be fun!

LOL to be perfectly honest, to get to a point where you can park without blocking the whole trail, you will have to bash on! And from what I recall, one such spot is a clearing/tableland, and the other is a rocky dry river bed. And you know what they say about the first scratch right? It all gets so much better after that .....

Re: Rajmachi Softroading Trip March 11th

Aaah, now you are scaring me. Anyway, let's get off NH4 and hit the Rajmachi track. We'll evaluate once we are there on how much we can push and where to stop Then the hard core enthusiasts who love to play Holi can carry on bashing, while the rest of us meekly watch and take pictures!
