This is a query to the organisers.

All plans of attending, with my jeep have gone down the drain. now is it possible if i drive down and after that be allowed to come spectate. i really dont wanna miss out for the third year in a row. maybe i could put my name in as a passenger with some of my friends coming from ahmedabad?

Hi Khalil

If you can find a place in one of the ahmedabad jeeps or with any friends near Mumbai, you can attend as a passenger after paying the registration fees (still to be announced).

The best way to learn offroading is to observe. You surely learn what NOT to do , which is the first thing to keep in mind while offroading.

thank you genesis ji, will keep an eye out for the announcement of fees . very true sir, better to learn from others than try things on my own. will speak to the abad guys once theyre ready, or else drive down in my swift and then join them for the event from there itself.

You can obviously come along in any of the Jeeps. Last saturday some of us got together to figure out and we are expecting at least 4 Jeeps from Ahmedabad so am sure there's space

2) Harsheed's 1.6 Gypsy
3) My 540
4) Prashant's Thar

Another Thar and Classic are tentative but we should know about them soon.

Dates are weekend of July 6-7 (Friday - Saturday) with arrival on Thursday night. Sunday is travel day back. We are figuring out payment logistics before opening up registrations.

Ah yes, the jeep would have pottered its way through the rut but if I took it into the pool, water would have entered the distributor

This time we are aiming for a 'package' which includes accomodation etc so that participants dont have to book acco for themselves and we have a common place to unwind after the day. (We do learn lessons from OTR's in other states !)
