YOu can catch us on the NH 8 also as the Jeeps are slow. We tuen left from manesar. The exact turn I am not too clear as I generally follow the convoy. I can say is that it is after the Manesar Toll booth.
I will be coming via Delhi mahrauli road. I do not know which chowk it reaches to, but that road has all the Malls on it, left or right. Is that the IFFCO chowk?

Any one from Noida or Indirapuram can send me a PM by late night (11PM) today if they would like to accompany me for the OTR

Okay after the Toll booth on NH8 when you enter Gurgaon, the first flyover is Ambience mall flyover. The next flyover is IFFCO, right?
So we cross first 2 flyovers, and at the third flyover go left?

rhandle, the mall road ends at the 2nd flyover, and I guess you take left from there, and do not merge with NH8, right?

Thanks Tanveer. I checked Google maps and found that Signature tower is not exactly on NH8. Are we guys meeting on NH 8 or inside near Signature tower?

When you come from Jaipur side it is exit no 16 (South City) and from delhi I am not sure close to exit no 7 or 8(can anyone confirm?)

Signature tower is inside but the meeting place is on NH8. For people coming from delhi through expressway: After taking the exit keep coming straight along with the flyover, dont turn left for Signature tower. After the crossing at the corner, just below the flyover, at one side there is a wineshop and open land in front of that, thats the place.

Take phone numbers of people who have been there in case new comers face an problem in morning.

Have fun guys, I will join next time.

If yes than these can be had for much lesser price from chawari bazar as that place deals in these in bulk.
I picked one for myself for ~700-800 rs.

cheers
vishwas
Vishwas you are very correct. Chawari is the cheapest place to pick them up. They have a weight capacity. Do make sure it is has 3 Tons pull capacity. The Jeeps are usually 1600 kgs plus the initial pull factor. 3 tonns pull capacity is safe.

I you have someone in chawari it will be the best and cheapest.

The theka is BANG ON NH 8

Yup mine is rated for 3 tons. Plus it has factor of safety of 3. So it is good for 9 tons before it snaps. I also picked D-shackles for myself from there. Those were pretty cheap as well. I think 70-80 rs a piece.

cheers
vishwas

p.s. Pics people. Please post pics of the OTR. While you people were having fun in your jeeps I was hauling luggage and relatives to airport in mine. So near yet so far...
