23rd Afternoon/Evening.

While waiting for the sea breeze to pickup we tried a few ditches for the beginners.

But because of the overcast sky the wind was erratic and very strong, and finally we it started to rain, so we had to co to the campsite.

Before dinner we screened the History of WW2 JEEPs.

Sorry about the delay. Here are a few from my end

1.Waiting for our turn to go up up and away while the Ford guys were having their turn. If you can notice to the extreme left, its actually Arka warming up to 2 days of rib tickling humor at pilot's expense. Pilot is now fondly called Hotrod aka Sutta Kambi aka Lightning rod aka minnal kambi aka chinna payyan aka chotta bachcha aka aka aka aka..... the list goes on


2. Raghav all set to take off. Trembling knees and jittery spine amongst other things as he prays to the lord almighty. He was the only person to get a chance to go up (in the literal sense) that day since he was the only person besides minnal kambi to weigh below 60 kgs.


3. After numerous aborted take off attempts, Raghav finally gets airborne while minnal kambi trembles in his pants as he prepares to get up there 10 minutes later. Luckily though he never had to do it since the winds dropped and we had to pack up.



4. Raghav, Raghu and Varun smiling their way to glory around Major Roy's Jeep. Last Heard Dabur lal dantmanjan (tooth powder) was looking for new models.


5. The beasts with the Scarlet Ferrari in the background. If you can look close, you will find sutta kambi in Major's jeep trying to get airborne for an inverted flight. So Mr. Pilot, did you manage to find the answer to that question?


6. Arka briefing the group while everyone pays attention to the captain.
PS - No, Sutta Kambi is definitely not trying to bully Arka though it might look so. lol


7. From left - Varun's Scarlet Ferrari, Vikram's RWD Lada, Bottle's Palio 1.6 and the famous mistress belonging to the one and only nitrous. Now the informative, revealing, instructive and enlightning conversation between Nitrous and Sutta kambi through the night is part of irreversible history.


8. And it starts to pour towards the end of Day 1. We had a prelude to the Tambaram Drift with the cars being driven sideways on sliperry mud en-route to the camp site. Guess Vikram would had had the most fun with his RWD.


9. Vijay Shekar's Pajero - It was sad that we did not get to see much of this beauty as the excessive rear overhang got the better of it on every decline.

1. Ironical? Gypsy man and family on board a Jeep The little princess, Sneha seems to prefer the Jeep to the Gypsy. Vikram, don't you wish you had retained your Jeep? lol


2. En-route to the para-sailing grounds. The convoy driving through the villages sure did receive some attention.


3. The Jeep twins parked side by side all ready to get down and dirty.


4. Yellow Yellow Dirty Fellow. Raghav perched on top of major's Jeep.


5. Her word was our command. The youngest Jeeper. WINNER TPC 2019


6. Vikram cooking some Doughnuts with his RWD Lada.
