Gentlemen for next year lets please inform and plan in advance. Perhaps we could plan things so its batches of 5 vehicles in a group exploring different locations. What say? Too many offroaders together also spoils the fun as half the time you are waiting for others.

Like Devang said this has to be the best trail we've seen till date. Loads of challenges, unbelievably beautiful surroundings, and fun crowd.

I am already excited about next year !!

The patrol looks stunning, how did it perform. Did it get stucks anywhere. Since it has wider body, did it encounter any body scratchs due tonarrow pathways.

The Nissan Patrol is an awesome machine offroad and a good match to the TLC. It just feels tinnier, vis-a-vis a solid hewn from one block feel of the TLC. Also the Patrols in petrol guzzle fuel like crazy.

The one feature of this car and engine that always blew me away was on petrol Patrols the inside of the exhaust pipe would remain white!!! Now that is something.

In SWB form the Patrol (2dr) is truly formidable. I expecially like this shape of the patrol. So angular and striking

The single biggest let down of the Tata TL is its gutless old engine. It has a shift on the fly electrically operated 4x4 and if only it had a more powerful engine a great choice for people living on estates where a 4x4 is a must and some creature comfort required. Rock solid on highways, can clip at a steady 120 effortlessly.

I feel the Xenon with better tyres should be a decent option, esp the single cab with a shorter wb and 4x4

The Patrol and the Isuzu ___ look stunning. In fact, I have seen the Patrol in action, and it is a beast off-road.

However, I noticed that for both the vehicles, the air pressure in the tires seems to be full. Was this really the case? If yes, then I think it would have been better to let off some pressure when you go off-road.

@jeep gurus: This provides better traction, right?

Overall, this expedition looks like one of the best that I have seen, judging from the photographs alone. Then again, they say, the actual challenge is much more than what a photo can capture. I can only imagine the amount of fun you all had!!

Stanley for OTR

The TATA TL 4X4 is Stanley Customized...!!!

As they say - Takes the Rough with the Smooth.

From what I saw,The Tata TL(a brand new one at that),did not perform too well. The Isuzu trooper did extremely well.We did'nt get to see much of the Nissan patrol though,as it was way behind in the line.

chandan,
Please post some pics of your jeep too. I almost forgot that you bought one a few months ago. It looks stunning in some photos, didn't have a chance to see it in full, so.

Regards,
Krishna.
