Place - Sawarsi mine ground, 22kms from Khopoli
Assembly Time:
khalapur Exit - 8 am
Mumbai Guys : Mac donald: 7am, Sion Circle: 6:30 am sharp
Pune Guys : James i know is leaving at 6 am sharp (please cordinate)
Some Guys are staying the night, we will meet them at the khalapur exit at 8am SHARP

Confirmed:
Allan: Truck
Mohan : Gurkha
Devang : gypsy
Ksm vtec: gypsy
neville: Gypsy
Hussain : kaiser
CLoud Chaser: pajero
his friend( me thinks ramesh) : White Classic (please confirm)

(other vehicles coming add your name to this list : copy the whole list and add urs)

Mohan will lead the group, followed by devang, rest can follow, i will cover the end

Everyone needs to carry Atleast 5 litres of water per vehicle : compulsory

This otr none on the vehicles will be with a winch so all who have towing strap and shackles please own up

i can rely on mohan for tools, i know he carries a set,
We need a towing rope very important
i have one which i will be carrying, its high time we all get one, please contact me if you need to buy high quality ones after the otr, but please for this otr, someone get a towing trap other than mine, we need two

Food, for this trip everyone please carry your own, cause we are inorganised and it would be great if you get some for others also

This time we need to talk about all chipping in and getting a few accesories for recovery and food , shall discuss that at the otr

im thinking bout trying the gypsy there, since its not registered
will drive it down on top my recovery truck
need to know of a place to unload it

Allan you forgot me James: mm550. I have a heavy duty tow strap and D shackles, tool kit, jack and a wheel spanner which i will be carrying. There might be another Defender from Mumbai i still have to confirm. If yes ill ask him to contact one of you guys.

5 cars including mine are just leaving. Someone please wake us by 730am.
I bought some stuff today: 4 five ton shackles, 5mtrs steel cable (5ton), 5mtr nylon recovery strap (5ton), regular tools like full spanner set, drivers etc., regular Jack and tyre rod.

Allan has my mobile number.

Guys please get us breakfast!

I will be meeting you guys at khalapur exit at 8.00am in mm550. Defender guy is not coming. Kunal MM540 and Abrath gypsy not yet confirmed if yes we will all be there at Khalapur exit by 8.00 am.

It was good to see the gang (mohan,alok,neville,pinky bhai) after a long time. (didn't mention few names like allan james,ibrahim and all because we are always in touch)One hell of a weekend, rally drive to khapoli. Mechanical failure, but still 4x4 are meant to take torture and it did really well.

Track was awsome its going to be hard core in monsoon.

Night at hotel and Night otr was fun but didn't venture much.

Sorry guyz we left little early because of work..

Let's plan something soon.

A new place with few more new vehicles..

What a day!
It was my first OTR in my newly purchased secondhand gypsy - and it was amazing!

Right in the start, my vehicle got stuck in a ditch, and we spent the longest time, trying to recover it!
(Philip has a video of the same)..

Here are a few photos from today..

Thanks to everyone, it was a blast!

2, 3 & 4 - My gypsayyy got stuck! and it stayed stuck, for quite a while!

5 - Ramesh (I'll let him explain this pic! Lol)

8 - Ramesh, Munna & Philips Classic, My Gypsy, Alok's Gypsy, Rupesh's silver gypsy (i think), Prashant's Mini Paj, someone's Red 540, someone's white gypsy, Allans gypsy, and James' 540 (or was it 550?)

9 - My Gypsy, Aloks Gypsy, and Rupesh's Gypsy..

10, 11 & 12 - Ibrahims hill climb was one of the main highlights of the day! A lot of people tried, and didn't succeed at first - but then Ibrahim set the standard!
