Some slippery sand dunes and then the rock. Over 100ft. in height, the Mahindras took it up and reached the summit in style. Then it was down to some dense forestation, slush and ultimately to the finish.

Good entries and continuously interacting participants and team Mazdayar/ Mahindra.

Lake crossing was most challenging with waist deep water at places, the steep and high sheet rock incline was equally challenging.

Prabhu, Mobike008 and I were in the Hyderabad Rubicon which eased her way through water and land.

I would love to drive on this track again.

+1. The way we eased our way through that 4 feet deep lake was an experience of a lifetime. I must commend your skills for taking us through that nature's obstacle with utmost precision.

I must also add that Prabhu drove the Rubicon beautifully even though it was his first offroad event and last climb ( I think it was a 8 feet wall which was almost vertical) was stupendous.

A big kudos to Mahindra team for a great event organized and absolutely loved the track which was completely natural and a real challenge for both 2X2 and 4X4 categories.

If i am not wrong the entire track was close to 20kms or so.

It was a good event with some good obstacles and the ever helpful staff of M&M and RaceCraft adding to the pleasure.

Yes, after the lake, the Jeep was driven entirely by Prabhu a first time off-roader, though he is a mean drag racer, who was doing trails for the drag race a day before and the same day as this event, as the next day was the main event.

The core Team Mars headed by Prabhu, Suren, Ravvs, Nazim and the in house mechanical team did wonders in their again in-house hybrid in the Indian open category bagging a 1st position beating machines expensive twice theirs. Arun and Suren (B-HPians) secured 1st and 3rd in other categories. Unfortunately I missed the action there.

Two extremely contrasting driving techniques, Off-roading and Drag, but Prabhu went through this off-roading track like he had been there many times before.

Hope the plan to hold a meet on this track again in two weeks materializes.

AWESOME TRACK!!! My compliments to Mazda and Barkat Ali for showing awesome track.

Thanx for the appreciation, Vinod. There are endless possibilities of running a variety of Motorsport events at Ocean County. It is our good fortune that the promoters of Ocean County are allowing me to go ahead and utilise their place for the same.

And here's the pic of the enthusiastic team of engineering students from MJCET who were instrumental in the smooth running of this event. These boys are hardcore Off-roaders themselves. And what's more? .....They build their ATVs themselves in their college.

Oh Yes! These youngsters were there exuberantly marshaling and guiding all participants, standing in waist deep water and inhospitable land throughout the event. We whole heartedly applaud and thank them for it.
