I believe, the THAR, with its CRDe mill and that gear ratio's has a much higher crawl speed than the CJ's.

Yes, Thar's crawl speed is higher than CJ or MM540, but it's almost same as Invader. Short comparison:

Diff Ratio:
THAR : 4.3
CJ : 5.38
MM540 : 4.88
Invader : 4.27

Robinson sure seems to be showing the gang how it's done in a beautifully modded Invader. And here we spend all our time talking about CJs, MMs and Gypsies. Proof that a good driver & sensibly modded 4x4 can keep up / beat the traditional champs.

Invader is a capable machine, as you said, with some basic modification, that vehicile is capable to deliver its maximum output.

The scorpio had some basic modification. (Snorkel / MT Tyres / Bumpers and suspensions)
Its a 4 wheel drive, and did the water cross with out much fuss.

robinson, amazing otr, this group's activities deserve to be covered on team bhp in future and your machine is awesome.

Can you please get details about this jeep like what model it is, engine, what alterations are done in the soft top, performance of rims and tyres, total cost involved etc (in short whole build story) I think its a cj500.
I know its too much information to ask but its a looker and I was thinking on building a jeep on exactly same lines, any information would be appreciated.

It's a stock CJ500. Only mod, army rims with maxxis creepy crawler tyres.
