Armada Grand gives you a lot more features than an MM550.
1) Stronger NGCS Chasis
2) Nice dash with integrated Air Con
3) Power Steering
4) Sloped front windhsield
5) Most important from the buyers perspective a very decent OEM hard top
6) I think the grand has been shortened more than the MM5x0.

Given that Mansour has his own engineering company it is much easier for him to do this than take an MM5x0 and do the above.

NGT530 comes in Bolero Storm and Scorpio (2WD & 4WD). It is direct fit to the 2.6 engine. No adapter plate is required.

Thank for your reply sir , but what is the difference in the new generation chassis than the normal one . So NGT530 is available in 2WD & 4WD or does it have a divorced T-case

In the older mm chasis, the long member is made up of a single C Section with a boxed C section around the engine for newer models. The NGCS chasis has a boxed C Section through out making it about 2.7 times strong (acc to mm).

If you are putting a more powerful engine, it helps to upgrade the chasis for handling.

You can source an adapter plate from M&M to bolt on a Borg Warner Transfer case to your 2WD NGT530/520. It is not fully divorced as in the gypsy. It is bolted directly onto the gearbox using an adapter plate.

Oh ok thank you sir . So this chassis less reinforcing compared to normal chassis when going in for a powerful engine . Is that adpter available ofthe shelf from mahindra . So thats means if a 4Wd NGT530 GB is not available then i can buy a 2WD NGT530 , a borg warner t-case & and an adapter plate from Mahindra and fix them right.

There is a part number and it should be available off the shelf. However, in case of Mahindra, their supply of 4WD parts is very shoddy. I struggled to get a lever for two years so I don't think you will get this adapter plate very easily. The company doesn't stock any 4WD spares. If you are planning this, source the adapter first and then the gearbox. 2WD NGT gearboxes are easy to find.

Manzoor has given the adapter plate in foundry for duplicating, he said, it can match with the bogwarner tcase of safari which is cheaper in the market.

Ya even i too told him the same, but he is not interested of these stuff, pls suggest some name that matches this monster.

Changing the slope of the back, need to change door angle also.

Re: Shortened Armada Grand

Amazing project and good luck with it !! I'm glued to this one !!

I honestly think you do not need to change the slope in the back...looks good the way it is.

Edit: Come to think of it...this is what M&M should have done with the Thar !!

Re: Shortened Armada Grand

What was the reason behind changing the slope of the back ? I think it will look bad from the rear. It looks like a tata winger's rear.

Re: Shortened Armada Grand

Brother your project is going great.... But I think Sreejesh is rite. It's looking like tata winger's rear. Why dont you try for Detachable hard top and give your Jeep the look of Wrangler. All you have to do is bonnet extension, Door, Front Grill & fender redesigning and a few changes here & there..
All the Best for the Project..

Sumeshm. I agree with others here. please dont straighten the rear pillar. it was much better with the inclined pillar. Although by the looks of the build so far it shows you really know what are you doing. I am sure you know how its gonna turn out.

And in case i didnt mention it please accept my regards on your jeep build. This by far, for me is going to be one of the best looking jeeps around. Cheers!
