With company installed Diff lock. Some OTR pics of the stock vehicle taken sometime in Sept 2011, when we were testing the vehicle, This thread will also be a work in progress photolog of the mods that are being carried out on the truck but as of now these are the pics I could post. |

| ![]() Wow this looks like a real beast. A power house. Congrats for the beauty. I feel this closely looks /resembles Ford Endeavor from sides |

Team-BHP Support ![]() ![]() | ![]() A true classic! Mindblowing machine, congrats Memo45! This gen is still in production in many markets...a true attestation to the timelessness of the Y61. I love the look, except for that awkward front grille and can only hope you plan to change it. This particular example seems to be in amazing shape. Got it from Mumbai? If you don't mind sharing, how much? How many kms? AT or manual? Congrats again & do drive safe. If you ask me, there is a lot of similarity between the Patrol & the Landcruiser 80 series. |

![]() Was this listed on any classifieds or did you hear about it through contacts? Another Q : Will you retain the regular tyres? These SUVs are exceptionally good long-distance tourers (petrol FE aside). Can't wait to see pics of her in current form. I have a feeling he's gotten a lift too. | |

Senior - BHPian ![]() | ![]() Wow, such macho looks, haven't seen any of them in a long long time, and buying from one of the consulate folks means its maintained in top class form with everything original. 12L is a steal for such a vehicle any day. Was this imported by the consulate folks? Being a second owner of an imported vehicle do you foresee any problems in terms of parts availability etc? |

| ![]() Congratulations on the beast, I am looking for the beast too, But I would go for the 2 door version, I have always been a fan of the patrol, this beast if modded with intentions has beaten the Murceliago. But its offroad capabilities are the best. Congratualtions once again, keep us posted on the mods. Edit:Image Suggestions: Last edited by zeemmee : 29th February 2012 at 11:12. Reason: Image |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() The best Patrol yet. I used to work for Nissan ME & lot of offroader-locals used to swear by Y61 & swear at the (then) new "sissy" Patrol. Very good buy @ decent price. Congrats. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Sorry for no updates, was busy with the shoot for the patrol, as of now Maxxis Buckshots 33x12.5"(35" not available) tires are on the car, also the Ironman4x4 Suspension, Bull-Bar, 9500lbs Winch, Snorkel are all installed. Other wise 1> Engine tuned up, de-carbonized/tappets adjusted. 2> Under body treated/ painted. 3> Minor tinkering work and door setting done. 4> Did some of the Interiors up, got some of the panels wrapped in CF. 5> Put the ICE together, Motevo (double din) in-dash with GPS, Kicker components in the front and rear doors and Kicker 6x9's in the back, with a Pioneer 1000w sub all running through a 2 and 4-channel JBL amps(was in the car installed by the previous owner, just pulled out all the wiring and did it right to get it all working), and installed a new power antenna. 6> Installed a Dual-Band with Repeater Kenwood Vhf. 7> Bumper is off as of know standing ready to accept the new Ironman4x4 bull-bar and 9500lbs Winch. 8> Modified the bracket for the Rear Brake Proportioning Valve. 9> Made brackets to Drop the Rear Bump Stops. 10> Also made the bracket to remount the spare wheel carrier on the rear door the accommodate the 33" Buckshot. Also attaching the measurment pics of the hight of the standard truck in the order of left front of 30", left rear of 30", right rear of 29.5", and right front of 29.25", As the pics show the measurement is taken from the base of the fender to the top of the inner part of the rim. And also the measurements was taken from the conners of the side steps also for refrence which stood at 15" on the left and 14.5" on the right. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() Hello Memo, that's a beauty you have there. Questions, what is the CF wrapping.?, did u get them in BLR.?, again what prices, as I have seen a lot many modded cards with similar wrappings for the Bonnet and the Boot, looks cool. Secondly, I see you have a dual band Radio, are you a HAM don't u need a license for it .? Cheers! |
