I've been driving a Wrangler since 2007, love love love it! I don't use my Wrangler as a daily drive anymore, but still take it out on weekends and have lots of fun with it.

10,000 kms on the ODO with the following modifications/additions carried out:-

• AntennaX front antenna
• Flyaudio Head Unit

10K service carried out. It took less than one hour at the Mopar Express Service Center and included replacement of engine oil & filter as well as top up of other fluids as required. Car wash was not done.

• Windscreen LED Cubes (Spot & Flood)
• Rugged Ridge A-Pillar Switch Pod

Details of trucklite are as below :-
Trucklite
It cost me RO 180/- with installation (RO 1 = USD 2.58).

The spot and flood windshield cubes cost me RO 80/- installed and are generic chinese make.

The preparation took months and I did two dry runs in the desert in December, first for 30 kms and then for 60 kms. But this one is 300 kms!

I will surely post my experience here, am praying that I get selected for undertaking the extreme route. The organisers (Guide Oman) have two routes, normal and extreme. The normal is relatively flat with a few dunes and the trail is used regularly by the local Bedouins. The extreme is tougher and challenging.
