congrats xtreme power impressive collecton i must say
so now you have 3 defenders(i am not counting 6*6)
and 2 range rovers thats awesome

amd to top it all you have a hummer H1 !!

if livtodrive gets his you both are going to be the only two fortunate living beings in india to own H1scheers:

By the way the H1 is here to stay right?and its no going back is it?
it should be your prized possesion in my opinion

Gotta love the real Hummer look, I cant bring myself to like the Hummer wannabe the H2, and then a joke the H3.

H2 is a souped up Chevy Tahoe that GM uses to relieve stupid Americans and bollywood actors of their spare cash. H3 is a poor joke. For less or about the same money as an H3, you can buy a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon which can go places the H3 owner can only dream of.

I have lot of respect for the H1 and would love to own one, but in my experience the size is a big disadvantage when it comes to going on off-road trails. It's fine in wide open spaces like the land-scape you see in africa or afganistan.

There is an off-road park that I used to go fairly often near Philadelphia called the Paragon off-road park. (http://www.paragonap.com/). i had a stock landcruiser amazon. The only thing i change for the off-road trips was to leave my alloys and tires at home and put on steel rims and mud terrain tires. Usually there are also one or two H1s and a few land rovers or Range rovers. Majority of the vehicles are jeeps.

Couple of times when we were fording a stream and had to climb up the bank, jeeps usually were better suited due to the narrow width and they'd find an opening in the bank and squeeze through. With the bigger vehicles like Land Cruisers, H1s, Rangies etc, we had to use brute force and climb up the bank with low range and diffs locked.

Having seen all these vehicles perform off-road, my personal choice in an really difficult off-road trail would be a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon or the Land Rover defender 90 (short wheel base).

This is the kind of situations where jeeps do better than H1s

the hummer in question is not a civilian hummer...and frankly thats the best part about it..
it has no paint or anything..so in some terrain where otherwise one wold be terrified about scratching their new wranglers or from that matter even the landrover.......here in this case i just cruise through bushes...thorns..walls without really worrying bout body work getting damaged....
secondly yes he hummer is more suited for wider tracks n open flats......thats why i still rate the classic range rover as the best offroader of all time according to my experience...
and out of sheer experience im not comfortable with the rangler....love the new fj cruiser though

Lovely collection buddy. Great to see that these beauties are kept and put to use the way they were meant to be. Kudos.
Love your W111 Heckflosse too. Is it a 220S/SE or a 230S/SE?
Im sold on both the Rovers.
Whats the Red American sports hiding behind the Beetle. Is it a Ford Maverick?
