Well thats good news. However I am very much scared of the M&M customization department, after looking at the damage they made on the souvenir.. would give anybody second thoughts before ordering one.

They do not have commando mentioned anywhere on the website. Do you mean the stinger?

they Stinger is similar to the commando concept, you can check that out but they charge around 2 lakhs plus for such mods.

I have seen an original commander in Udupi, close by to Mangalore, by a enthusiast named sachin karkera. He converted it to a bolero. Pics attached.

so whats the deal with Mahindra Customization?? Are they offering the base jeep as well for the Souvenir?? Or do you need to own on already and then pay them customization charges!! I wouldn't mind buying off a classic if they had!!

Sachin is a member here, I regularly see that Blue Commando made from the Commander by Sachin. It is a common sight in Udupi-Manipal area.
