Heh, heh, actually the 4x4 forum itself is just 10 months old. We moved all the earlier offroading threads into this forum whenever we found them. People like UBS and Arka have been members since 2004. And GTO himself is a long time off-roader, he bought his Classic new in 1997, it was recently given new life with a brand new 2.5L DP engine. You are in good company.

Hello H.B,
where were you all this time?
We missed you on many occasions like The Palar and The Great Arc in the recent past.
The legendary Hurricane F134 that you still have in your jeep is a proof of great power to weight ratio in a jeep, and that is proved in almost all the outings.
Wish you all the best, and is our Nagarjuna joining Hollywood????????
Yours...........................UBS

Thats my native place Ooty.. The location is enroute from Ooty town to Avalanche Dam.. It is Paradise to me ..

As you look into the picture straight, at the Far end end just before the mountains starts the Green Patch of land (Tea Estate) used to be part of of our extended family.

Wow, blessed are those who can call such a paradise their home. I can just imagine the sheer beauty you encounter as you explore offroad.

Between all the remarkable travelogues of trips around India and the offroad locations being featured here on TBHP I guess even a lifetime won't be enough to enjoy this splendid country.

Thanks once again and hope to meet you someday when I get to offroading in paradise

UBS when I spoke to you, you mentioned you'd be visiting Hyderabad soon for the The Great Arc adventure start. Has that happened already?
