Hi Sir Alec,

The LR was owned by someone in Delhi but later an Ex Minister and now an MP from Rajasthan owns it. He also owns the sand coloured Ford. Someone I know also owns a LR 86 model but has not kept it well and has done weird alterations to the engine.

Cheers !!!

Cherokee-Laredo, Willy's and a Land Rover

Hi,

Here are a few pics of some offroaders that are at my Uncle's farm in Delhi. They comprise of a '89 Jeep Cherokee-Laredo, 4 Willy's, Range Rover and a Land Rover.

The Cherokee is in perfect running condition with the stock V6 petrol engine. One Willy's low bonnet is nearing completion. The Land Rover and Range Rover have yet to get work started on them. And then there's a Ford low bonnet which is stretched similar to a limo. Well this one was actually bought by my tauji as it is and apparently he kept it the same and painted on it. I have no clue as to why the previous owner stretched the body. I'm waiting for the work to be completed and see how it turns out.

The Tucson in the pics along the Laredo is mine.

Cheers !!!!!!!!!

A similar Cherokee (with a similar regn no - BLN 216*) is left to rust in Mumbai. Also I have a feeling that the 8408 Range Rover was picked up from Mumbai.

A great collection of cars there Randeep!

Can you post the pics of the stretched up ford you mentioned?

Just curious.

Is he interested in selling the 89 Jeep Cherokee-Laredo or the rusted 3A by any chance? (I know he wont be, but still you never know)

I would be interested in one of them.

Cheers!

Great, another nice set of pictures. Your uncle seem to have a prized collection. Will be great to see these back to glory, particularly the landrover.

Randeep,
A similar stretched jeep was offered to me a long time back in Delhi with the tag "special model". I had refused to even see it but seems like the same one.
What is interesting about this jeep is, that somebody has grafted
Dodge WC51/52 type link dampers to make it a even more special model. Nice.

Cheers

Oh, thats some eye on the detailing!
A very unique piece at the 1st place, never saw anything like this! The seats are interesting. Any idea where from they have been picked up?
