This price is OK, considering that all the docs are in order.
Since you are going to replace the axles , why not zero in on the FC van axles only....they are wider and are designed for SPOA (which I guess you are planning on anyway)...and you have good choice of diff ratios to suit any size tyre that you decide to put in.
Blue Thunder,Thanks man. I hope I can finish this project in next few months. Pics and updates will continue.

And yes I think I am going with the FC Axles. Thanks for your tip.

Blue,

What is the spline count of the FC van axles (front and back)?
And what is the track width in inches?
Is the differential housing aligned as like in a regular jeep?
Will it have any adverse impact on a stock steering box?

Cheers

Re: To Buy or Not to Buy!! Bitten again by Gypsy bug -Jeep Captain

Friends there is a quick update..

This Gypsy was sold to a group of three friends almost a year and half back and they painfully restored it back to its glory.
Check out the latest pic of this Gypsy.
Will give you more details later.
Enjoy.

Mindblowing, cant believe its the same tri colored gypsy that you found sometime back. Good job !! Would appreciate if you can share some more information on how much vitamin M was spend on restoring the whole machine in current state.
