Good to see you getting your hands dirty!clap:

I like the pics and description of the built. Good going buddy!

BTW I sent you an sms regarding the Gypsy bumper of yours?

Cheers
Ankit

Damn Allan. I just remembered my good old days of training at Mahindra's, working on Jeeps and doing things exactly they way you are. Best of Luck for your project

Allan for the assembly what preload values have you used? Can we have some pics showing the working clearances?

Spike

Dear Allan - I presume you shall build clearance between the axle housing and the engine by adapting the SPOA layout, which seems logical to do as yours is a one vehicle project and not production intent. Please be careful of propeller shaft angles but then I don't have to tell you that, you already would know. I look forward to seeing the completed vehicle soon. Performance is expected to be very good. Best of luck.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

There is no like this thread option like facebook so cannot do that.
Some really good thread to look forward too. Not a 4x4 person but like the machine shaping up. The core benefit of this setup I believe is gonna be perormance in capital. Good work Allan.

Hey Allan,

Updates please. Am really looking forward to seeing the finished vehicle. When are you updating this thread?

Cheers,
Adi

Folks - up there is what the Thar SHOULD have been.

Allan, lets put it into production. It really performed admirably at TPC (well until it became a weed whacker at my SS :) )

he he...sorry!!!

@GS, yeah this is a JEEP, but sorry to say it will never see light of day in a production setup. Hope you understand what I mean.
