Hi all ,

I was inspired by Harjeev after seeing him post his pics of his LC.
Like him iam thankful for Mandeep aka Renege for helping me choosing this car. He was kind enough to come with me we drove all the way from Coaimtore to Delhi.

Idea to purchase this car was to make it into a overlanding 4x4 for long distance and camping.

Car is under restoration will be puting a lift kit, winch , custom bumpers , and many other things as an when i have money.

about the car
make :lj78 toyota landcruiser prado sx.
engine :2.4 diesel
transmission : Manual 5+R
extra goodies: sunroof electrical , coil suspension with rancho 9000 , factory rear diff lock , electronic front hub lock ,disc brakes on all wheels and electronic Mirrors

Things i will be doing first will be painting and the 2" lift kit, winch and hilift jack.

will keep you all posted with updates regularly

kindly bear with me this is my first thread and please excuse my mistakes.

Hi Rahul,

This vehicle belonged to Srinath. Saw it for a couple of OTRs in Chennai.

A nice vehicle with lots of potential for mods.

Regards,

Arka

Excellent Buy! I knew about this purchase long back. But good to see the pic.

Good Luck with all the mods planned. Lucky you to have an expert like Mandeep around, so that you dont need to worry about anything.

But I am not very happy to see all these LC's from South India being moved to NCR these days. .

Cheers
Shibu
