Hey guys , i have a small problem . im not able to find the chassi number of my 74 Jonga

. In the 82 Jonga its behind the right rear wheel but in the 74 there is a Some kind of beam welded in that place . Experts please tell me where the chassi number is in a 74 Jonga

Attaching images of 82 Jonga chassi number location and the 74 Jonga where a beam is welded in that location . Is this beam OE or did the army weld it for some reason covering the chassi number

Thanks Jacs , Jonga restoration will be done later after gypsy but will get it into running condition after the festival

@ Sugan,
Have a look at page no. 08 0f Nissan P60 Service Manual which I have sent to you.
As per the manual:
The manufacturers chassis serial number is stamped on the right frame side member at the front end, and engine serial number is stamped on the right side of the cylinder block, front lower corner.

I wanted to own a Jonga from a long time but i had no other go but to buy one lot which included two vehicles . So i thought i'l buy the lot keep one and sell one

Sold the 1974 jonga & the work on the 1982 jonga has started

Got the engine started , it started in 2 cranks and i could not believe it happened
Engine seems smooth with lot of belt noise

Uploading few pics & a video of the second start up ( forgot to take the video of the first start up as i was very excited , then my mechanic reminds me to take a video

Hi , could not update this thread for a while as i was busy with office

UPDATE : Front fenders , hood , front grill , front bumper have all been tapped out , new mesh.

My Jonga's progress as of yesterday

New rear doors are fabricated as the old ones strength felt like plastic , time had eaten of the strength and thickness of the doors.
