Bought 2 Nissan Patrol G60s a.k.a Jongas

Hey guys , me and my bro are proud owners of 2 Jongas . One is a 1982 & other is a 1974 . The below pic tempted us and we wondered if we could really own one some 1 year ago , but then in a flash our dream came true

Whoa, 2 JONGAs. Congrats on your acquisition. Looking forward for a complete thread on restoration. Would you be able to PM details on the cost and from where you got these. My friend is a fan and has been looking for something like this.

CHeers,
Raj

Double whammy Karizma! The one in yellow that you aspire to is a pretty interesting restoration. I had a chance of seeing a Jonga for sale in A'bad with a Qualis engine and castrated (2wd) for about 2L. 4wd and original petrol engine would be quite a killer combination!

Am hoping you've been able to get the engines in restorable conditions! More info please!
Good luck with the restoration

Cheers,
Adi

Whoaa.. 2 JONGA's in 1 shot !!! This seems to be very interesting. Congrats on acquiring an Indian Humvee
Both of these JONGA's seems to be in a very much better (& drivable)conditions.
Are both of these JONGA's are having 3956cc In-Line 6-Cylinder Petrol engines ??
Do post some detailed pics including interior & engine bay pics.
Are you going to retain same petrol engine ??
If you would like to have a JONGA service manual i.e. Nissan P60's service manual, please PM me your e-mail ID along with your mobile as I have completely scanned pages of P60's service manual.
Once again, congrats on acquiring JONGA, looking forward to their restorations.

karizma9292: Congratulations.

Are the spares easily available in INDIA?

I would like to see your Jonga someday.

The yellow Jonga looks stunning. That guy should have spent a bomb in restoring it.

Anyways all the best . Keep us posted on any updates.

Bangy boys had brought 3 Jongas 7-8 months ago. No one restored it i guess.

Regards,
Krishna Thanthri

You're selling one of them already??

I might need a few parts of it, if you decide on breaking it
