You can use regular air, only thing nitrogen content will be reduced. IIRC air is 78% nitrogen :)

Thanks for clarifying Jaggu! I had read in some of the other threads, where there was discussion on nitrogen gas vs. normal air, that some of the owners had trouble finding nitrogen-filling stations after they had suffered a puncture on highways. That's why I wanted to know if it would make any difference really? IIRC nitrogen gas does not expand or contract unlike normal air.

David, the fabricator, Buddy will you also make a rock slider for me too:D
Seriously guys, this is really informative. Sanjay and David, could you explaln how you got the rear seat made into front facing seats. I need to get this done asap too and have two rear long seats waiting for the job. I would appreciate it if you could share the cost of the set modification as well as the rock sliders. I need to get both of them and maybe i could use your guy. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi Sanjay,

I have acquired my MM 550 XDP last week and would like to follow your foot steps. I would like to know the details about the below tires that you had tried once on your jeep.

Very true JeepCaptain - I am loving the way he is keeping it real steady and simple. In fact, I will use lot of his work while working on my MM 550 XDP.

New Fabrication Project - Swing out Tyre carrier

Design 1 and 2.
In 2nd pics, I am using my existing brackets frame. So no need to fabricate new mount plate for tyre.

The swing arm tyre carrier is looking great! Is it already done? Which are the mounting points? Some more detailed pics please. I too was looking for such an idea for my 540.

Just relaxing after completing 95% fabrication work of my Swing out Tyre carrier. Total time spend 9-10 hours daily for 4 days.

clap:
