It's a known Chrome bug.

Check the small "Remember Me?" box on the right side of the User Name box (where you type in your User Name) and you should be good.

A problem I just noticed while typing this post on Chrome for iPhone. The default setting makes one lose part of the quick reply box, and the bottom line is getting hidden by the keypad - may be worth checking if that is a common problem.

Can you check your zoom / keyboard settings? No other iPhone user has reported this. Can you also try playing with the size of the quick reply box (via the arrows on the top right)?

Login is only once man (just ensure that the 'remember me' checkbox is ticked).

When we click on the Search magnifier on the home screen and then cancel our search by clicking on the cross, the home page reloads. That's what i see from the behavior on Google Chrome. May be we can try using the cache memory to go back to where we were when the search magnifier was clicked and not go to reload the page when cancelling the search.

I will forward your comments to our developer. However, we did face some challenges with implementing search the way we wanted it, so I don't expect much of a change here.

Just tried this out again.


Left spaces to try and get to the bottom of the box.

Pinch and zoom works when I get towards the end of a long sentence. However, I still have the problem at the bottom of the box.

Can be solved by typing enter a few times and then leaving the bottom line blank while typing. But still have a problem if I am typing in the last line.

Hello Mods,

I am facing an issue with mobile site. Whenever I send a PM and check sent items, it does not appear there but it actually has been sent, as I get proper replies from the recipients. Even today it happened.

Incidentally, PM option on my Android App is also not working after I updated my Moto G4 Plus to Android 7. But all other options works flawless.

Is this an identified issue with anybody else.

I just also observed that my sent PMs are not appearing even in the desktop website (say, PMs sent over the last 10 days, earlier ones are intact), but the replies I got for them are in my Inbox.

Looks like an ad from Semrush is breaking out of the div and is overlapping the content on top. Saw this multiple times with just this Semrush ad. You may want to raise this to your ad provider/Google AM. Other ads on the same slot seem to be rendering fine.

Have been using this site for the past three years. I would like to give a suggestion based on my usage. Most visitors use this mobile site through Chrome app. Recently most apps and websites provide DARK MODE for their UI. Websites like NDTV when visited using Chrome from mobile and with dark mode, opens up in dark theme automatically. Would love a similar addition for our site or an option to toggle between dark and light theme would also be fine.

I think most people prefer dark mode irrespective of time and lighting conditions. Would like to hear fellow Bhpians opinion about it and also request to add a poll if necessary.

On the extreme bottom-left corner there’s a drop-down menu. Choose —— BHP Smartphone from that menu.

What phone do you use, my man?

If it's an android, try using the Samsung internet app.

There's a dark mode that works very well in TeamBHP pages.

Let me attach a few screenshots.

The TBHP homepage is stuck on the ‘desktop site’ view on my iPhone, whereas the forum pages are ‘smartphone view’ type.

Any idea how can I revert back to the ‘smartphone view’ for the homepage?
