Motomaverick, do they polish the exterior, or apply wax?
Also, any idea on what treatments they have for the interiors?

They do the normal waxing & polishing with the electric buffer. They do claim to remove minor scratches but i have not tried it.

Interiors they use some soap solution to wash and dry it, they do it quite well i have seen some cars getting interior cleaned.

There is another one in Forum Mall. I have been there once to remove the scratched from my WagonR's Wind sheild. Result was amazing I would say 90% of the scratches were removed. Yes but it was expensive 800 bucks I guess.

Tried out the Car spa today at the Sarjapur Mall and luckily met motomaverick too. What a coincidence.

And indeed this place is fully or honest people who are willing to give that extra value added services for the same price.

Usually used to do a lot of grocery shopping from Total mall and everytime used to see the cars getting washed and polished in the spa.So went to try it out today. And yes they exceeded my expectations.

I also had some black tar stains on my front bumper along with a minor dent and I asked the shop adjacent to the car spa, Castrol zone, for an estimate to remove it.The Castrol guy as usual with his fleecing attitude said that they will have to replace the entire bumper.I straighaway walked out and went back to the Car spa where my car was getting washed.

Talked to Umesh, the person incharge of car spa, and he calmly took a rubbing compound and removed all the stains for free. And loved the line he mentioned when I was leaving.Still echoing in my mind."Sir, its only when we give more than what we should , the customer will feel like coming back to us time and again."

I smiled and drove away happily thinking that this kind of people are what makes us go back to them again and again.

Over all a happy service.

A few pictures of the place.

Mr. Umesh. Probably Tata service centres can pick up some talent from here.

Thanks for the review, Alter Ego. I shall also try out this place sometime soon. Considering that i stay closeby, its an obvious choice.

Between, how much for the interior cleaning?

I tried going there over the weekend but he was always crowded.

I asked him about the shampoo he uses but he refused to tell me. Then I told him no problem, you can use mine since I'm not sure of your shampoo but he refused. Weird, I asked him why and he said shampoo is applied by machine and we cant use your shampoo as we have to fill the machine full with the shampoo and not little.

I know that is not the case with the foam applicator and you can very well use it with 1-2 caps.

Left cause it was too crowded but I think I will give it a try soon.

Mid size cars is Rs.250 for exterior and Rs. 100 for interior vacuuming. Total is Rs.350.

You can also have them come over to your place and do this. Just need to provide them with a bucket or 2 of water and a electrical outlet. They have annual packages too. I have used them here in chennai and their job is pretty decent.

Took my Ritz to The Car Spa today at Total Mall on Sarjapur Road. I got the car washed (body and under-chassis both), polished and interior cleaning done from them for 1800/-. Boy, am I impressed with the work. They are really professional with attention to detail. Mr Umesh makes sure that his boys are doing everything to make the customer happy.

I would rate them at 4/5. 1 point less for them being expensive.
