There's an old legend of a Bugatti Royale hidden away somewhere in South India. Maybe you'll find it.

Eh, no jokes. I've heard this a couple of times. I know someone who discovered a Stingray on his dad's ancestral property. No engine, just the body and suspension. Last I remember, he was planning to put a Merc mill in it.

Well I ain't joking either, this too is a famous legend although unsubstantiated. Also there is a confirmed sighting of a dark blue 300SL (Yes, the Gullwing) in Delhi by a fellow member (and friend's) car loving father belonging to a royal family many years ago but no one knows where it is right now.

Why yes, Vijay Mallya has one 300SL gull wing in his collection.

I would faint. Then I'd wake up...only to faint again. Such would go on for about two days straight.

a royale is not possible, they are all accounted for, six cars plus a replica of the esders roadster... i have seen two, as well as the replica.
and karl, how can the bentley be 42? they wernt making cars in 1942 because of the war. it could be a 40 mark V (very rare) or a 45 mark VI (not so rare and valueable) cant be aything in between

highly unlikely...all 6 Royales are accounted for, and they built a 7th one using extra spares left over.

Mallya has 2 gullwings i think, but not in India.
