The thick knobbed MTB tyres are suitable for really rough, mountainous terrain - riding them on the road will be no less than a punishment as they are noisy, difficult to steer and likely slower than similar width but slick tyres.
For the hybrid, you can find less aggressive, smooth tyres that are still wide. Since comfort is your primary concern, that will be a better option while requiring the same amount of effort. |
