So by my recommendation you should have about 40K left over.

Bhagwan, I'll give you some other options :

a. 30k on the audio, 70k on a turbo w/intercooler...or whatever mods you prefer
b. 30k on the audio, 70k on a gaming rig - infact.
c. 100k on a mindf***king trip to London, or even better , Amsterdam :-)

....Personally...if i wuz in yer shoes, i'd take option c

but whoa!!! 100k on audio...you'll have a concert on wheels....louder than even Disaster Area :-)

unfortunately i can't provide you with any worthwhile info as i have absolutely no knowledge of Car A/V...

but best of luck, just take care not to be fleeced by any dealers - try and keep your budget a lil discreet when talking to them for the first time.

btw, the kind of equipment you're all suggesting - what rms will it pump out ?

But Navin shudnt he look at a DVD based system with a couple of Screens as with that budget of 1 Lakh+ , it is very much possible to get a nice system.

3rd party DVD changers and screens are cheap. Alpine however will cost you an arm, a leg and your first born child.

I got a Necvox DVD changer and 1 5" head rest screen for 20K. For 25K you can get the same changer with 2 head rest screens and hook up the audio via a FM modulator.

He Bhagwan! What is happening here? Poor Bhagwan wants to spend big bucks on his system and he ends up getting a new name.

I do think with that kind of budget he should go for a 5.1 system or something like that.
