yeah. this is kinda dated. :-) B&T remember there are a few dinosaurs around here as well. :-)

And heck JB, there's no way I think valves are prehistoric. I would kill to get a Butler Audio. Uh, ok anyone who owns a butler audio tube driver around, if I ever spot it...time to say your last prayers mate!

I am designing an EL34 (6SN7 phase splitter and 6SL7 input) based amp. Got tubes, OPTs, PS, and today I got the chassis. The OPTs weigh 3kgs each, the PS weighs 5kgs+ and the chassis is all SS and weighs 5kgs alone! I am thinking each amp (I am making 2 mirror image) will weight 20kgs when done.

I think you guys will be interested in the pics when I am done. B&T since you are in Mumbai we ought to meet or maybe we already have. :-)
