JVC has launched USB only HU with great features at an MRP of 4,990 INR.
This looks like a great HU and seems like a strong competitor for Pioneer & JBL.
With option to add bluetooth later and App Mode for iPhone it becomes the first HU to offer these features at this price point.
KS-BTA100 is available for around 2.5k in markets.

Surely is a great buy ! At just 1k more than Pioneer,its worth every penny IMO.

I would love them to jack up the price a bit but add features like TA and this one would be a killer deal. For me, it'll be 926BT at the moment.

These features are mouth watering at this price point. Eapecially the iphone app feature. Is there support for SD card? Also any apps for Android. I m thinking of replacing my JBL X333 with this one.

USB, 2 Pre-outs. Ticks the right boxes for the entry level ICE-r! I was looking at the x50 though - Adds built in bluetooth. Carplus is selling it with b/w at INR 5400 - now that's a sweet deal!

The Pioneer unit mentioned on this thread is a bit of a disappointment. 1 pre-out? Really? And Pioneer seems to have lost the knack of building clean looking HUs. No offence, but I 'm personally reminded of Sonys everytime I look at the next gen Pios!

But it's nice to see the market hotting up. Finally some competition for the JBL x333!

Pioneer 149 ub was offered to me with bill and warranty at 3000 and jvc/kenwood with cd/usb at 3800 / 4000 so I guess 800 more for cd is better . Also jbl have removed the x333/555 from their website .

The X50 BT is available on carplus for 6300 with B/W. Where did you see it for 5400? It is indeed a steal at that price.

Recently the HU and rear speakers were stolen from my Santro Xing and now I am looking for a new HU and speakers after upgrading the security system.

I have some basic Blaupunkt speakers in the front. Please suggest me a HU+rear speakers+front speakers(only if really needed) which falls under the low budget of 10k. I am looking for a USB+Aux+FM HU, but I dont mind paying 500-1000 bucks extra if the HU can come with a drive and better features. Please suggest me the possible options. The rear speakers tray was also stolen and I plan to get speakers put into boxes this time. Is it a good idea? Please quote the street prices if you know any. Thanks!
