thanks low_bass_makker for the advice. I'll surely find out the dimensions of the custom box which i would be installing.

Hey Navin, gunbir, Sam is the size of box suggested by LMB correct??

Dont mind LMB, i am just trying to get the things verified by other guru log

Thanks

1 GT4-15 would more than rock your accent. Sam can offer recommended box sizes he knows people in JBL you know.

well guyz i had gone the person whose setting up my system...well for start...this guy is Mohammed Asif of MA car studio. he knows Sam very well it seems.i sat in his silver palio today which had
2 1600watt 15" powerseries subs powered by 1201.1watts GTO amp !!!!!!
believe me guys i could manage to set the volume only upto 5 or max 6 !
bass was BASSSSSSSS !!! tight n heart pounding ,killer performance !!

firstly i spoke to him bout the 8ga and 4ga cables confusion...well he assured me tht the orignal JBL kit which i hav purchased are good enough !! no need to look out for anything else...

secondly as far as the caps are concerned.....even he expects me to put one of 1 farad...but then its not gonna affect the system too much coz he says the 601.1 amp is capable enough for the reqd thump...still audiobahn, earthquake caps r reccomended....

thirdly bout the box for the subs....again he is gonna start customizing 1 for my car very soon....but says the whole boot is gonna be occupied.... but its gonna b detachable too....

as some of u`ll suggested for a similar setup as tht of the sonata done by autopsyche....no doubt that is an amazing setup...but i guess its gonna take up some space permanently....which isn`t desirable for me....

anyways all in all thnx ppl for ur suggestions ...it does make a lot of difference and makes me feel like a audio guru in front of my frds....hehe

cheerz guyz keep those posts coming....

Man one word of advice ,

you are getting JBL 601.1 it is for 18 k in bill I think so other option can be

alpine MRD-M605 it is price at 15-16k in grey and 19k for BW. And nearly same power outputs and smaller foot print than JBL.
