Is your HU stock which comes with fortuner? What cable are you using?

Mirroring on Pioneer AVH-X2690BT

Hi Team,

I recently got Pioneer AVH-X2690BT in my car. The specs says that its mirrorlink ready. Has anybody tried mirroring an iPhone 4S on this head unit or know if its possible?

Hi roadjourno,

I followed the following steps:

1. Connect the USB end of the cable to the car unit USB point.
2. Open the drivelink app on the phone.
3. Connect the phone to the car AV system via bluetooth.
4. Connect the other end of the cable to the phone.

This is when the app throws an error and crashes. The mirrorlink tab stays deactivated on the car AV system.

I installed Pioneer RadioApp and connected the USB cable between the phone and HU while they were connected via bluetooth but the mirrorlink button remains disabled.

Where can I find the "DriveLink" app. It says it is not compatible for my phone on google play
Hi TorquePeedo

I am sorry for asking question on a long long ago post.
Did you get a solution for this ? How did you resolve this problem finally?
How do I find out whether my car has a Mirror link enabled HU or not? It is Toyota Fortuner 2013 model.

Please reply. I have exactly same problem as yours. Thanks in advance

Re: Smartphone Mirroring on Head-Unit

I am in market for buying a used galaxy s7 / s8 model to leverage the mirrorlink to hook up with the HU of Innova which does not even have navigation as mine is base Variant. Anyone using mirrorlink effectively in an Innova Crysta? I think it has way more potential than android auto.
