No i think this IC should be available thru any pioneer service centre and will cost a lot less than a new amplifier

... Yeah.. Pio Service Centre... Cost of Chip 150... Labour 450!!!.. Bloomin daylight robbery!! (just had the power chips replaced on my home DVDplayer).. Kinda like the ol matercard ad... Priceless!!

oh sam bhai i forgot about it that pionner is offical now but i think the hu is in grey but it all depends on the pioneer people that they will repair the HU......they might do it...if they do it then bunnarith will also be saying Priceless like KB......lol

If the Pio purchased is an orignal Pio will repair it just not for free.

If the Pio purchased is not an original other 3rd party repair shops would be needed.

In any case this repair wont be as expensive as an amplifier.

hey guys,
i found out wot d actual prob was. there was a short in d rear speaker, part of d wire was touching d cars metal body.
thnx for ur replies, very greatful for all d help i received

short tripped amp. amp was a IC amp so all channel shut down. short removed. amp dont trip anymore. all channels operational.
