ICE for OHC

I have a JVC DVD player HU im my OHC.

I had a pioneer im my car which i removed and installed this JVC DVD HU.

The front speakers are company fitted. had installed a 10 inch woofer and pioneer rear speakers...

Im planning to change all the speakers including the Ampli as i had bought this when i was in college 5 years back.

Guys plz suggest which configuration should i go for...

Which Ampli ???
Which Woofer ???
Wat Size ???
Which Component ???
Which Rear Speakers ???

Plzzz help me out guys....

^^^ Apart from that please describe what kind of music you like eg. Pop, Rock, Reggae etc. & also whether you are interested in SQ ir SPL or are you a bass head or a combination of the above??

You cant buy all these with the above mentioned budget. Changing one or two at a time will suit you fine I think.

Does your HU have 3 pre-outs?
If yes, get a nice 4 channel amp and a set of component speakers. Hertz is my choice for compos. If it wont fit in your budget then get JBL 507. Bang for the buck!

You said you have a 10" Subwoofer. Stick with it for the time being. You can power it using your old amp. But what amp it is? I think it should be a 2 channel. If you think it has done it's job and it's time for burial grounds, then power the sub from 2 channels of your new amp and the other 2 channels for compos.

Get Hertz co-axials for rear. 6.5" will be sufficient.

4 channel amp = 6k (Sony)
5.25" Hertz compos = 5.8k
6.5" co-axials = 3k (Hertz or JBL)
This will keep you in budget and later you can go broke methodically!
