DVD HU + screen on a budget

HI! Options for those on a budget.
GEEPAD DVD Player - Made in Malaysia - Grey Rs5500/-(Not bad at all)
XENOS from Pricol - Bill & Warranty - Rs 8500/-
Loads of Chinese junk - Rs4500/-
Screen, again Chinese- Roof mounted - Rs4500 for 8", 5500 for 9"'.
Have a 9" roof mounted in my Safari along with a Sony Dash Mounted. Sony's great, but then, it cost me 15K. The Rs5500 head unit does a damned decent job too.
So to stay within a budget of 12-15K is very achievable.

seen a PIO ad in the paper today , with some new systems and Combo Screen with 2 din and LCD monitor, 6 DVD Chnager and all for 59K..guess you can work out a cheaper deal with the dealers incase you can strech that far.

if u want a real good dvd player with great sq go for blaupunkt long beach dvd 35 for 14k without b&w. It is far better than jvc. only the looks are a letdown

well my friends kids went and put soem chinese maal...all for abt 11-12 K...screen -DVD HU and speakers and alll....They are super thrilled and satisfied..... I havnt heard it personally..so dont know how it is as yet...will keep you guys posted .....on whats cooking in RED CHINA....

I believe even Big Bazaar sells some VCD player with screen & total cost is around 8k-9k. But donno how good or bad it is
