If you mean its the best for the price it sells, you're right! If you meant its the Best period, not really. There are better DVD units out there, but for a lot more money.

I sat in a Safari with a similar system a few years back. The area behind the rear seats was fully covered by one big parcel shelf & there were 4 12" Pioneer subs mounted on it. I stupidly sat on the rear seat & when this guy turned his system up there was so much noise that I started having a headache so I stepped out of the vehicle. Could never get the point of doing such overkill.

Even 2 subs or for that matter even one sub with the wrong type of music gives me a pounding headache...... frankly the rear seat of a car especially a hatchback with even one sub is not a very comfortable place to sit at higher sound levels... a SUV/tata safari might be slightly better ( even though ive never been in a SUV with subs playing)...

But on a seriuos note...4 subs..... whatever brand/size the car may be... with people..in it.....No offence intended to anyone.... it could seriuosly affect the listeners health...

see, even u think [after few posts in t-bhp] that adding 4 subw in a car would would make it a real high class install which is not the case.
Overdose, this is not meant for u but let me tell u ICE systems here in Punjab are viewed by subw in it and that too by its size. For retailers and customers,12" is always better than 10",even if 12" is sony and 10" some high-end like ID.
AFAIT,more blame should go to retailer for not trying out new/better products and only thinking about their profit.

Very true.
Now that I'm in the market visiting all the guys here for ICEing the Civic, It's becoming more and more clear to me.
Ludhiana is absolute pathetic when it comes to audio.

It's all pioneer this and pioneer that. No other brand is promoted.
ZERO install skills. Crap wiring available.
