Sony 554: I connect 2 channels of this amp to the rear speakers ( 937) and remaining 2 channels for Front components ( Blaupunkt)

Pio 6200: I power the new sub ( JBL Bass Tube) with 2 channels of this amp and remaining 2 channels use it to power the HU.

Is the above correct?

NO! How can you power the HU? You have to power the speakers.
If they are both 4 channel amplfiers (which is what i gather) then the usage will be the same. I would prefer the pioneer amplifier to power your speakers.
I prefer the sound of the pioneer amps to the sony.

I too think the Pio 6200 will be the better sounding amp. So if I were you, I'd use the Pio to power the front comps. (Or the front comps and the rear 6x9s).

i'd take the Pio to power the front and the sub (since it is also more pwerful than the sony) and use the sony bridged for the 6x9s.

Option 1

Sony 554: Bridged to power the rear speakers
Pio 6200: 2 channels for Sub ( JBL Bass tube) and 2 channels for Front Comps

Option 2

Sony 554: Power the sub-woofer
Pio 6200: 2 channels for front comps and 2 channels for rear speakers

Which option to go for, decide

And, what the cost of Pio 6200 is 7K but what is its specs? And, i thought you get a JBL amp for around that much? 65.4 or something? is this better or should i stick to Pio amp?

How much would be the 12" JBL bass tube? 6K? Btw, hope this gets fitted as is and no modifications to the tube. Also, as it may take majority of whatever little boot space i have, it is detachable when required.

@LBM, thanks. I see that 6200 does not have the bass boost option. What difference does its non-existence make apart from not getting the boost to the bass?

since i am no using any boost I cannot comment further than that...but I would definetly recommend if you have bass boost on the amp always keep it at zero as it will only add to clipping nothing else....

the JBL amps is for 7999 if im not mistaken or something like that.i would get the JBL amp if i were you.(specially if im using it for the speakers)

the 12" JBL bass tube is for 6500/-
dont worry about the tube fitting in your car...i have got a tube iin my zen and yes it will be easily detachable.

not necessary i have my bass boost ON on my blaunpunkt amp which is powering my tube and no clipping what so ever.

Sir I said I keep it off and I only recommend it to keep it off....thats all...it is one`s person choice to keep it on or off......but i recommend it off....

majorly people switch it one when the amp is smaller that to drive the sub...so as to achive most from the amp the bass boost is enabled.....

I would prefer the bass boost thingy better kept at off position. According to me, There're some very good reasons for that.
