The JBL bass tube is a single voice coil, single terminal enclosure. As is the sealed enclosure.

As mentioned earlier, i am going to chuck my existing "dont know which exact pio model sub i am using" for a JBL 12" Bass tube ( 1204T) is this SVC or DVC? On fxaudio website it does not mention regarding this feature.

AMP: i have decided. I will go for either a Pioneer 6100 or Pioneer 6200

SUB: Still contemplating. again, would appreciate your views on bass tube or sub in a ported or sealed enclosure ( and which is better, totally sealed or ported) based on the feedback will decide for JBL 1204T or JBL CS1204B

Thanks a lot to everybody for assisting me on this matter

As Sam says the tube is a SVC. I assume the Box is also SVC. but you can get a JBL (or other) DVC sub and make a box.

Tube: more BOOM but less defined bass
Box: less BOOM but better defined bass
