Clarion is not bad at all. I dont find them very available though. In fact some of their higher models have been recieved good reviews on other sites.

The CDE-9846E is 9K with bill & warranty. The 9843 & 9846, both have 1 pair of pre-amp outs. Have no personal experience with either models, though.

The '43 is nicer than the '46.

it seems Audio gurus rely more on Alpine when it comes to best HU...

Kool then i have 3-4 days left out to get this done...

Now need your help for two thing

kindly suggest one HU up to 15k in sony and alpine each....

Sound and looks should be good

i am not looking for usb or ipod compatible.... 4v output should be good if i get in that.. any suggestion

considering JBL as best amp i am finalizing on it correct me if i am wrong 75.4

Please bear with me if any question sound repitative or stupid...

What speakers are you planning at rear if not keeping the stock ones ? From what I know 6X9s can not be accomodated in that slot.

Good choice of amp. At a 12-15K budget for the amp, look no further :)

I'd again suggest the Alpine 9843 for the HU. The 9856 is better, but will be about 18K with B&W. iPod connectivity can be achieved with the Alpine Cable later if you need it. USB is a no no. But then you're not concerned with USB right?

A very humble and nice thing to say. No question is stupid. Well, almost. We're all friends here and all happy to help you.

Keep us posted.

HU: 15K why not the Sony SACD HU that Gunbir talked about a few weeks ago.

The Gurus almost all use Pio (esp the P80RS) . I use an Alpine but that is becuase (apart from being used to their sweet sound) I am very familiar with the controls since I have used Alpine for 23+ years.

The Pio 7950, Sony MEX-DV2000, or Alpine 9847/9812R/9883 wold be what you can expect to look at under 15K.

The JBL 75.4 is a good amp for 13K. It is not the best amp out there. JBL itself make many amps that are better so do others.

How much would a comparable alpine amp be?

28K for the 545! I think Infinty should bring in the 5350a for that price. I was looking around today and the market for a good cheap 5-6 ch. amp is empty save the Audisson LRx5.

I was told by a fren of mine that i can go for a good pioneer or sony HU with sony amp? does sony make good amp? i was planning for jbl... but my fren states that sony good amp is of 7900 where as jbl is around 13k

any views on this pl?

how about sony sub woofers are they good? price idea on best model ?
