Hi Folks

So this was done a while back, been too busy to upload the pics, but finally got em done with some help.

So here goes... As always the story begins with the before pics...

The car, a gleaming white 2007 Honda CR-V, delivered at the workshop a day after it was bought.

And as usual we strip it down...

Whats going in?

The front stage: The SEAS Lotus Reference Set

closeups...

Note separate crossovers for midbass and tweeters.

The Rear Fill... HERTZ HCX165 coaxials

The Subs... SEAS Lotus SW250 10" Subs, three of them

The Amps... Audison LRx 4.1K and LRx 1.1K

The HU... Pioneer AVH-P6850DVD

The Vehicle Dynamics Processor... Pioneer AVG-VDP1

Continued...

Whoooaaa....awesome stuff gunnu ji.!
Waiting for rest of the pics.

Custom MDF rings made....

and mounted on doors

Front Midbass installed

Rear coaxial installed

Tweeters go on stock location

Stock HU

HU Removed

2007 CR-V Dash Kit

Antenna cable adapter

HU installed in dash

Customer wanted to retain steering wheel control that he had with the stock HU.

So we did an IR Remote - Steering Wheel interface. IR transmitter, seen here installed above A pillar.

Press a button on the steering and the HU gets the corresponding IR commands.

Continued....

One teeny weeny question... whats the damage like for that Seas front component kit?

install is deliciuos.... only one component im not a big fan of..and also is a weak link in the chain.IMO...is the Pioneer HU...( althogh i havnt heard the dvd version)..the 6850 audio only version was quite forgetable...
The steerign wheel remote is so slick......hmmm...

Loved the remote was installed in the A pillar. Brilliant job.

The reverse camera...

The VDP

VDP means more wiring...

Work begins on the rear of the car... MDF board replaces stock floor board.

Figuring out equipment locations

New Floor Board carpeted and finished

test fit again

A trim plate fabricated for the floor, gives the amps a flush look

Boards and Sub Enclosure go into the Paint Booth

Continued...

I agree. Incorporating the steering wheel interface is slick. Where are the rest of the pics?

Wiring stuff...

Meanwhile, the pained parts are almost finished

and are finally test fitted

Check out the finish on the sub enclosure

Almost done now...

Done!!!

Continued...

So the system is fired up...

And thats that. Well, there are a couple of future expansions planned... so stay tuned...

Enjoy!!!

whoa... what a setup. looks awesome. so how much did the whole thing come upto.

I am stumped! Great install Gunnu Paaji!

Whoa! That's some install, Gunbir! I LOVE it!

3 Seas Subs? Somebody listened to your car huh? :P (Or has your sub-section changed since then, again?)

Lookit the finish on the sub-box and the floorboard! I LOVE it! *Green with envy, waiting to scratch-up the sub and the floorboards with fingernails*

The new LRx 4channels let you give more power to the fronts even at 4ohms front and back huh? I didn't know. That's really nice. Lots of configs possible too! Mmmmmmmmmm...

So how did you guys feed the speakers? 4ohms + 4ohms itself, with 140x2 to the front and 130x2 to the back?

More upgrades/expansions? What else is left?????

Like sk456, I was also wondering at the choice of HU. The owner didn't want an IVA200? Or is it that the owner wanted the VDP, and the VDP needs a Pio front-end?

Well Done!!! Beautiful!!

nice install gunbir. how many coats did you apply to the sub box to get that finish. but honestly I prefered the earlier install with 2 subs (one on each side) as it left more space in the rear. BTW the subs box should be lifted about 12mm.
