Its a cartridge. You put the CD in it, and then insert the cartridge into the slot.

Oji ae sab te bhot changa hai, awaj kitthon andi hae?

Where are the speakers mounted? Those small black squares on the doors?

One can almost see a Bond movie villain in the back seat with a white cat on his lap!

Very nice thread and retro to boot, it even has mechanical graphic equalizer even my maruti 800 had that one .Although the silver spur is one of the common rolls royces especially in delhi.By the way what is the complete ice configuration of the car.

Wow!! A great car. Very nicely kept and taken care of. Looks immaculate!

An eye popping ICE configuration installed in the best possible way. Cannot even believe it was done in this part of the world. The CRT gels well with the interiors and it has been installed beautifully, reducing strain to people watching it.

The all Blaupunkt setup amazes us by it's build quality. They look like they're built like tanks. May even withstand couple a grenades! How much we could wish if it would be those glorious old days again just for this?

Is there any amps included in this setup? :

The car is an '88 model so the condition its in is worth commending, considering its nearly 20 years old. Being in one of these really defines what a high end luxury car experience should be. We have been in the gimmicky Maybach but have never considered it in the same league as the RRs or the Bentley Arnage. The velvet smooth V8 engine is the stuff dreams are made of, but all this isn't for this part of the forum. Let me stop ranting and get back on topic.

No, the ICE wasn't installed in India.

BTW, pics taken by JB using our trusty Nikon E4800 P&S.

brilliant setup in a brilliant car!
It looks like something out of a typical 80s gangta movie, when the gangsters are showing each other who they have to kill next...haha.
The carpet is awesome, i wonder who would have the heart to actually step on it. Love the placement of the monitor, never thought that this place could ever be utilised.

Nice find.

Gunbir and JB never claimed to have installed this system. Besides i dont think either was in the trade 20 years ago. 20 years ago i was an active ICEer.

It was merely an Independance day present - a very nostalgic one at that.
