Very very neat sub install. How much did you pay for the sub? Can you PM me the price? Also why the choice of CS components for the amps? I mean, considering you spent 16k on the install, you cannot have been on a budget for amps.

Gurus, how would that JL sub sound? Can it be used for an SQ setup? I just dont know about JL subs, hence the query. Are they Kicker-ish or can be tuned for SQ?

JL subs are good, if only a bit (at times a lot) overpriced for what they do... Yes, they can be tuned for SQ.
