As I had mentioned, the mic in MP 57 is external. You can clip it wherever you want. Mine is mounted on the A pillar. Catches the voice quite well and causes no interference whatsoever.

@pedrolourenco : I had recently got a music system installed in a friends car .Now we had initially planned for pioneer 7150 .Since it was not available that day the dealer said you try hamburg MP57 .If you do not like it then i will change it to Pioneer.
My review is it Blaupunkt is good on sound but navigating through its menus is a pain , time consuming .Also the said Bluetooth is not even A2DP compatible. It has a three band equalizer .Also not flashy at all.
So all in all we got it changed the very next day .(within 16 hrs).So i will suggest you try it out then make up your mind.
Also with this Blaupunkt is also giving some speakers free .(i guess they were 4 inches) were good enough. Also the cd mechanism in Blaupunkt is very abrupt and not smooth.

The catalogue mentions that the MP57 is A2DP compatible. However the dealer said it is not. You can however access your phonebook from the HU.

This is the setup I'm planning.
The subwoofer and RC10 remote will be done later.

Have you treid St.Louis HU instead of Hamburg. I was auditioned these combination & found St.Louis very clear. The showroom guy said its because of an inbuilt equilizer. Check if you can.

Actually I selected the Hamburg as it was the cheapest Blau HU with a USB port.

The HU is not reading from an 80GB hard disk. No problem with flash drives. Any idea what to do?
